Someone who will listen, without judgement
Hello, I'm Josh, a counsellor based in Inverness. I offer a calm, welcoming and confidential space where you can talk openly, make sense of what you're experiencing, and move towards lasting change at a pace that feels right for you.
Sessions are held online, by video call, so we can work together whether you're in Inverness, elsewhere in the Highlands, or further afield.
Every person has their own story, and there is no one-size-fits-all approach to counselling. Whatever brings you here, I will work alongside you to understand your experiences and help you discover a way forward.
What I can help with
- Anxiety, when worry takes up more room than it should
- Low mood, when things feel flat, heavy or hard to enjoy
- Stress, when the pressure builds and there is no room to breathe
- Grief and loss, with space to grieve in your own way, at your own pace
- Relationship difficulties, making sense of the connections that matter to you
- Feeling stuck, when you know something needs to change but not what or how
Based in Inverness, working online
I live and work in Inverness, and I see people online rather than in a room in town. That means no travel, no waiting area, and no calculation about whether the drive is worth it. Whether you are in the city, out in the Highlands, or somewhere else entirely, we can work together.
Taking the first step
- Get in touch. Send a short message. "I'd like to find out about counselling" is plenty.
- We talk. We have a conversation about what you're looking for and whether we're a good fit.
- We begin. Sessions take place online, from the comfort of your own home, at a pace that suits you.
Seeking support can feel like a big step, but you don't have to face life's challenges on your own. If you're considering counselling, I'd be pleased to talk with you about what you're looking for.
